Tecno Spark 50 Pro May Arrive Soon With Massive 6000mAh Battery and 120Hz Display

Upcoming Tecno smartphone expected to launch with upgraded performance, larger battery, smooth display, and improved cameras as leaks suggest an international debut before India launch next month

The budget smartphone segment is once again heating up as Tecno prepares to expand its Spark lineup. The upcoming Tecno Spark 50 Pro is already creating buzz even before its official announcement, with multiple leaks hinting at significant upgrades in battery life, display quality, and camera performance.

According to early reports, the device could first make its way to international markets before arriving in India, where a launch is expected next month. Interestingly, the design language is said to be inspired by models like the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G, giving it a familiar yet refined look.

On the front, the smartphone may feature a 6.78 inch LCD HD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. This combination is aimed at delivering a better viewing experience for everyday users, especially those who enjoy scrolling, streaming, or casual gaming.

Powering the device could be the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset, paired with HiOS 16 based on Android 16. This setup suggests that Tecno is focusing on balanced performance while keeping the software experience relatively modern and optimized.

Battery life appears to be one of the strongest highlights of the Spark 50 Pro. Leaks suggest a large 6000mAh battery, although some reports also mention a dual cell variant around 5600mAh. In both cases, the device is expected to support 60W fast charging, which would significantly reduce charging time for users on the go. Earlier listings on certification platforms like TUV also hinted at similar battery configurations, adding weight to these claims.

Camera capabilities are expected to remain simple but functional. The rear setup may include a 50 megapixel primary sensor with autofocus, designed to handle everyday photography with decent clarity. On the front, an 8 megapixel selfie camera with a dedicated flash could be included to improve low light performance during video calls and selfies.

In terms of software and user experience, Tecno has been steadily improving its ecosystem. Recent launches like the Spark Go 3 show the brand’s focus on adding practical features such as AI camera modes, voice assistance, and even offline calling capabilities within limited range networks. These additions indicate that the company is trying to offer more value in the entry and mid range segments.

The Spark Go 3 itself came with a 5000mAh battery, HD+ display, and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a basic yet functional camera setup. It also introduced features like Ella voice assistant and multiple photography modes, showing Tecno’s increasing focus on software driven features.

With the Spark 50 Pro, Tecno seems ready to build on this foundation. If the leaks turn out to be accurate, the smartphone could become a strong contender in the affordable 5G and mid range category, especially for users looking for long battery life and smooth everyday performance without spending too much.
