Redmi Note 15 SE 5G Set to Launch in India with Massive 5,800mAh Battery and Dual Cameras
The upcoming Redmi Note 15 SE 5G will feature a high-capacity battery, dual rear cameras, and Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, launching in India on April 2 with multiple color options.

Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G in India on April 2. The company has set up a dedicated microsite on Flipkart, giving enthusiasts a first look at the smartphone’s specifications. One of the key upgrades in this model is its 5,800mAh battery, which is larger than the 5,520mAh unit found in the standard Redmi Note 15 5G. Xiaomi claims the battery can last over 44 hours on a single charge and supports 45-watt wired fast charging.
The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G will be available in Frosted White, Crimson Red, and Carbon Black color options. The Crimson Red variant will feature a vegan leather rear panel, adding a premium touch to the device. Security is ensured through an in-display fingerprint scanner, while the phone runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the dual rear camera setup. The smartphone features a 50-megapixel MasterPixel primary camera capable of 4K video recording, while the front-facing camera for selfies and video calls is 20 megapixels. Compared to the standard Redmi Note 15 5G, which sports a 108-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, the SE model is designed for balanced performance and extended battery life.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, ensuring smooth multitasking and efficient performance for everyday apps and gaming. Xiaomi has positioned the Note 15 SE 5G as a mid-range option with strong battery endurance and versatile camera capabilities.
This launch follows the recent debut of the Redmi 15A 5G in India. That model includes a 6.9-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Unisoc T8300 processor, a 32-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera. It also supports 15-watt fast charging for its 6,300mAh battery and features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, running Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 16.
The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G promises a compelling combination of battery longevity, capable cameras, and a refined design, making it a strong contender for users looking for a mid-range 5G device in India.
