Realme 16 5G With iPhone Air Style Design Likely to Launch Soon in India

Realme is reportedly preparing to expand its smartphone lineup in India with the upcoming Realme 16 5G. Early information suggests the device could arrive soon in the country, bringing a design that resembles the sleek style seen in the iPhone Air inspired look.

According to popular tech blogger Paras Guglani, who shared the information on the social platform X, the company is getting ready to introduce the Realme 16 5G for the Indian market. The blogger indicated that the phone launched globally may arrive in India with similar specifications and design features.

Interestingly, the Realme 16 5G has already been introduced earlier this year in Vietnam. The smartphone attracted attention mainly because of its distinctive rear design which features a flat camera bar similar to designs seen on premium smartphones like the iPhone Air and Google Pixel series.

The device comes with a 6.57 inch full HD plus AMOLED display that supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. This combination is expected to deliver smooth visuals while browsing, gaming and watching videos. The display resolution is listed at 1080 by 2372 pixels, offering sharp and vibrant output.

Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo processor. The chipset is designed to deliver stable performance for multitasking, gaming and daily smartphone use. Realme is offering the device with up to 12GB RAM and internal storage options going up to 256GB.

Photography is another area where the Realme 16 5G aims to stand out. The phone includes a dual rear camera setup with a 50 megapixel primary sensor accompanied by a 2 megapixel monochrome sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device features a 50 megapixel front camera.

Battery capacity is one of the strongest highlights of the smartphone. The Realme 16 5G is equipped with a large 7000mAh battery designed to comfortably handle heavy daily usage. It also supports 60W fast charging along with reverse charging functionality.

Durability is another notable feature as the smartphone is expected to carry IP66 IP68 IP69 and IP69K ratings which provide strong resistance against dust and water. These certifications indicate that the device is built to withstand challenging conditions.

In the global market, the smartphone is available in Black Cloud and White Swan color options. Pricing in Vietnam is around Rs 40000 for the 8GB with 256GB variant and approximately Rs 44000 for the 12GB with 256GB model. If launched in India, the pricing is expected to remain close to this range.

With its eye catching design, large battery and powerful hardware, the Realme 16 5G is shaping up to be a strong competitor in the upper mid range smartphone segment. Smartphone enthusiasts in India are now waiting for the company to make an official announcement regarding its launch.
