Ola Electric Cuts Price of Roadster X+ by 60,000 Rupees Boosting Customer Affordability
Ola Electric slashes Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh price after ramping up Bharat Cell production, aiming to improve affordability while maintaining performance, safety, and longer battery range for customers.

Ola Electric has announced a major price reduction on its Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh electric motorcycle, cutting 60,000 rupees off the original price. The premium e-bike, previously priced at 1,89,999 rupees, is now available for 1,29,999 rupees, making it more accessible to customers across India.
The price cut comes as the company ramps up production of its 4680 Bharat Cell at its Gigafactory, reducing costs and allowing Ola Electric to pass the savings on to buyers. The 9.1 kWh variant of the Roadster X+ claims an IDC range of over 500 kilometers, promising longer rides without frequent charging stops.
Last year, the Roadster X+ received approval from the International Centre of Automotive Technology under the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, following rigorous safety and performance testing. The high-capacity battery pack ensures enhanced range, stronger performance, and improved safety for riders.
Ola Electric has also seen a significant boost in sales and registrations. In March, the company recorded more than 10,117 electric two-wheeler registrations, marking a growth of over 150 percent compared to February. The surge in orders, with over 1,000 units per day in the last week of March, reflects improved service quality and better parts supply management.
The company’s Hyperservice program, aimed at reducing complaints and improving same-day service, has contributed to increased customer satisfaction. In March, Ola Electric surpassed one million cumulative electric two-wheeler registrations, highlighting its recovery from previous service-related challenges that had impacted sales.
With the price reduction, extended range, and enhanced service network, the Roadster X+ now becomes a more attractive option for customers seeking a reliable and high-performance electric motorcycle.
