Netflix Password sharing option stopped: Airtel, Jio offers free Netflix plan

Netflix recently ended password sharing option in India. Netflix now only allows users to share accounts with people living in the same household under the Household Policy. So the only way you can watch Netflix right now is to buy its own plan. However, this option is not affordable for everyone, but some plans of Airtel and Jio offer free OTT subscription.

Telecom operators like Reliance Jio and Airtel have offered several recharge plans that offer call and data benefits along with free subscriptions to Netflix. With unlimited calling, data, SMS and additional benefits, one can enjoy their favourite series and movies on Netflix just through the mobile recharge plan.

Here is the list of Jio and Airtel plans with free Netflix subscription:

Rs 1099  Prepaid Plan: This plan from Jio offers 84 days validity, 2GB daily data, unlimited voice calls and free subscription to Netflix (worth Rs. 149 per month). The plan also includes Jio Welcome Offer, which gives users access to unlimited 5G data.

Rs 1499 Prepaid plan: This prepaid plan from Jio offers 84 days validity, 3GB daily data, unlimited voice calls and free subscription to Netflix Basic (worth Rs. 199 per month). The plan also includes Jio Welcome Offer, which gives users access to unlimited 5G data.

Jio Postpaid Plans with Free Netflix Subscription:

Jio Rs 699 Postpaid plan: This plan of Jio offers 100GB data per month. Users also get unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. Additionally, this plan includes free subscriptions to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Jio apps. Like other Jio plans, users get free access to apps like Jio TV, Jio Cinema and Jio Cloud.

Jio Postpaid plan Rs 1,499: This plan offers 300GB high-speed data, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day and free subscriptions to Netflix and Amazon Prime. It also includes international roaming benefits in select cities. However, it does not include a family plan with additional SIM cards.

Airtel Plan for Free Netflix Subscription:

Postpaid plan Rs 1199: This plan offers 150GB high-speed data, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day and free subscriptions to Netflix Basic, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar Mobile.

Postpaid plan Rs 1499: This plan offers 200GB high-speed data, unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls, 100 SMS per day and free subscriptions to Netflix Basic, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar Mobile.
