The direct cash transfer for this month was supposed to start from August 10 itself. But it was not possible due to some technical problem in the DBT system. He said that after 13 days, the DBT process was started and on Tuesday itself, many beneficiaries of Bidar district were paid the money that was due in lieu of 5 kg of extra rice.

Commissioner of Food and Civil Supplies Department Kanagavalli said that the cash will be deposited in the account of Anna Bhagya Scheme beneficiaries of other districts of the state in the next one week. But according to the government 22 million BPL households may not benefit from the Anna Bhagya scheme immediately as their bank accounts are not linked to their Aadhaar numbers.
