Indian Post has introduced the Dak Sewa App, a digital initiative designed to make postal services fast, convenient, and accessible directly from smartphones. This move allows users to access essential post office services without the need to visit a branch or wait in long queues.

The app is available in 23 Indian languages, ensuring a user-friendly experience for citizens across the country. It can be downloaded on Android and iOS devices via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The Department of Posts also shared information about the app through its official social media handle on X.

Through the Dak Sewa App, users can now track parcels in real-time, book speed post services, and generate electronic receipts instantly. The app also provides information about the nearest post offices, making it easier to locate services when required.

In addition, the app allows users to calculate postage for letters and parcels, compute interest on savings schemes, and make digital payments using UPI or QR codes. These features are aimed at simplifying daily postal transactions and enhancing the overall efficiency of postal operations.

By bringing postal services directly to mobile devices, the Dak Sewa App reflects Indian Post’s commitment to digitization, offering citizens a smarter and more efficient way to manage their postal needs from the comfort of their homes.
