Apple iPhone 20 May Feature All Curved Display as Company Plans Special 20th Anniversary Model
Apple is reportedly preparing a futuristic iPhone 20 for its 20th anniversary next year featuring an all curved nearly bezel free display advanced OLED panels from Samsung and new camera innovations under the screen

Apple is preparing to mark a major milestone in its smartphone journey as the company approaches the 20th anniversary of the iPhone lineup. According to early leaks, the next special edition model, likely called iPhone 20, could bring one of the biggest design changes in the history of the device.
The most talked about feature is the possibility of an all curved display. Instead of a flat screen, the upcoming iPhone may feature a quad curved panel that flows seamlessly across all four edges. This design is expected to almost eliminate bezels, creating a truly immersive borderless look. Reports suggest that Apple may also experiment with a liquid glass style display concept that enhances visual depth and smoothness.
Interestingly, the display technology behind this futuristic design could involve Samsung’s advanced OLED panels. These panels may use Color Filter on Encapsulation technology, which is said to improve light transmission significantly while also reducing power consumption. This could allow Apple to create thinner and more flexible screens without compromising on brightness or efficiency.
However, bringing such an advanced display to life is not without challenges. One of the biggest hurdles Apple is reportedly facing is integrating a front camera under the display. While the company is exploring under display camera solutions, achieving the same quality as traditional setups remains difficult. Until then, Apple may continue refining its Dynamic Island style cutout, which currently houses the front camera and sensors in a pill shaped layout.
At the same time, Apple is also expected to rethink the overall front design of the device. There are strong discussions about removing visible camera cutouts entirely, which would push the iPhone closer to a completely seamless screen experience. The technology behind this shift is said to involve optical refraction systems, engineered visual effects, and light guiding structures to maintain clarity while hiding components.
While the iPhone 20 is still a future concept, Apple is also reportedly working on another major product launch much sooner. The company may introduce its first foldable iPhone this year. This book style foldable device is rumored to be called iPhone Ultra and could include a 48 megapixel main camera along with a 48 megapixel ultra wide lens. It may also feature a dual layer UTG and UFG glass structure for durability and flexibility.
Battery performance is another area of focus for the foldable model, with leaks suggesting a capacity close to 5800 mAh. In the foldable segment, Samsung currently holds a dominant position, making Apple’s entry highly anticipated in the global market.
As Apple prepares for both its foldable debut and its 20th anniversary flagship, the next few years could redefine how the iPhone looks and functions. The idea of a fully curved, nearly invisible bezel design shows just how far the company is willing to push smartphone innovation.
