Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro Debuts with Marathon Focus and Long Battery Life
New smartwatch targets runners with advanced training tools, 20 day battery life, titanium build, and precision tracking, offering a premium fitness experience with smart features and wide platform compatibility

Amazfit has expanded its wearable lineup with the launch of the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro, a smartwatch designed primarily for serious runners and fitness enthusiasts. With a strong focus on endurance training and performance tracking, the device brings together advanced analytics, durable design, and extended battery life.
The smartwatch stands out for its impressive battery performance. Powered by a 540mAh unit, the Cheetah 2 Pro is claimed to last up to 20 days under typical usage. Even with heavy use, it can run for around 10 days, while GPS based activities can stretch battery life to nearly 30 hours. This makes it particularly appealing for long distance runners and outdoor athletes who need reliable tracking without frequent charging.
In terms of build quality, the watch features a Grade 5 titanium frame paired with sapphire glass protection, giving it a premium and rugged feel. The 1.32 inch AMOLED display offers sharp visuals with a resolution of 466 by 466 pixels and can reach peak brightness levels of up to 3000 nits, ensuring visibility even under strong sunlight.
The device runs on Zepp OS 5.0 and introduces Zepp Flow, an AI powered voice control system that allows users to interact with the watch more intuitively. It supports both Android and iOS platforms and includes connectivity features such as Bluetooth and Wi Fi. Built in microphone and speaker functionality also enable Bluetooth calling and integration with voice assistants like Alexa.
Fitness tracking remains at the core of the Cheetah 2 Pro. It offers more than 170 sports modes and integrates with popular training platforms such as TrainingPeaks and Strava. The included Zepp Coach provides personalized training plans, adapting to user performance whether preparing for a short run or a full marathon.
Advanced metrics give users deeper insights into their workouts. The watch tracks running power, pace, ground contact time, and even predicts finish times. It also monitors recovery indicators like VO2 Max, heart rate variability, sleep patterns, and fatigue levels, helping users maintain a balanced training routine.
For accurate outdoor tracking, the smartwatch uses dual band GPS along with support for six satellite systems, improving location precision. Additional sensors include BioTracker technology for heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring, along with temperature and altitude tracking capabilities.
The smartwatch also includes everyday smart features such as notifications, music and camera controls, calendar reminders, and a built in to do list. With 5ATM water resistance and added utilities like a dual mode flashlight, it is built to handle both workouts and daily use.
Priced at around 449 dollars, the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro is positioned in the premium segment and is available through official channels and select retail outlets. With its combination of durability, smart features, and athlete focused tools, it aims to cater to users looking for a comprehensive fitness companion.
