If you have old smartphones, Airtel has requested users to buy a new 5G phone. The important point is that 5G will work only through the existing Airtel SIM in your mobile. That means no new SIM is required to get 5G service. If 5G is available in your area, just go to the network setting on the smartphone and enable 5G.
