March 14, 2024 is the last date to update Aadhaar card details online for free. The Unique Identification Authority of India or UIDAI had earlier said that it was extending the date from December 15, 2023 to March 14, 2024 after receiving positive feedback.

According to the information given on the official website of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), any citizen can easily update their biometric information and data like name and mobile number, gender, address, PIN etc. in Aadhaar card. Aadhaar Card Update March 14 last date.

All the processes are done through my Aadhaar portal free of charge. One can update their name, address and some other changes for free through the official website of UIDAI. Details can also be done physically at Common Service Centers (CSC). The service is available free only on the myAadhaar portal but to update the details at a physical centre; one has to pay Rs 50.

Proof of Identity and Proof of Address (PoI/PoA) documents should be uploaded if one has issued Aadhaar 10 years back and not since then to revalidate demographic details.

Steps to update Aadhaar details online:

Step 1: Visit the official UIDAI website, https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ to log in by entering the Aadhaar number and One-Time Password (OTP) you receive on your registered mobile number.

Step 2: Check the identity and address in your profile that appears on your screen.

Step 3: If your documents are not changed you need to submit the document. (If all your mentioned details have already been verified, click on ‘I will verify above details are correct’ tab.)

Step 4: Select the document you want to submit using your drop-down menu.

Step 5: The size of the identity document should not be more than 2MB and the file format should be JPEG, PNG or PDF.

Step 6: You can also update the address using the drop-down menu you want to submit.

Step 7: Size should not exceed 3 MB and format should be JPEG, PNG or PDF.

Step 8: Submit your consent.

Here are the simple steps to update details offline:

Step 1: Visit the official website, https://bhuvan.nrsc.gov.in/aadhaar/

Step 2: Locate the nearest Aadhaar centers using the ‘Nearby Centers’ tab.

Step 3: You can select the location by entering the location details.

Step 4: The selected location should be in your zip code.

Step 5: Click on ‘Search by PIN Code’ tab on your screen.

Step 6: Enter your pin code details to check the nearest Aadhaar centers in that area.
