Rs 1000 for all women above 18 years monthly: Government new announcement
The Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana has been announced in the Delhi budget. Under this scheme all women above 18 years of age will be given Rs 1,000 per month. It will be effective from April 1.
The Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal government has announced a bumper budget for the women of the national capital. Finance Minister Atishi has presented her first budget today and more than 21% of the Rs 76,000 crore budgets have been given to education. In addition, the Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana has been announced in the budget. Under this scheme all women above 18 years of age will be given Rs 1,000 per month. It will be effective from April 1. The Kejriwal government will give Rs 1,000 per month to every woman aged 18 years and above.
Women will get this contribution under the Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana, Atishi said in her maiden budget. Rs 16,396 crores have been given to the education sector in the budget. Rs 8,685 crore has been given to the health sector. 212 crores have been given to Mohalla Clinics which are the trademark of Kejriwal government.

Also, electricity bill subsidy continues. In 2023, 3.41 crore consumers were given zero electricity bill. Atishi clarified that it will continue.
Delhi Government Budget 2024-24:
Total budget: Rs 76,000 crore
Education: Rs 16,400 crore
Health: Rs 8,685 crore
Delhi Jal Board: Rs 7,195 crore
Public Transport: Rs 5,702 crore
Rs 6,216 crore has been given to various projects of Social Welfare Department, SC ST OBC Welfare Department, Women and Child Development Department.

What are the eligibility criteria:
– To be eligible for the scheme, women should be above 18 years and Delhi voters.
– She should not be an income tax payer.
If any woman is a beneficiary of any pension scheme or a government employee, she will not be able to avail the benefits of Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana.
