Weather Report: Heavy Rainfall Alert in coastal districts from tomorrow

Rains have subsided in various districts of the state for the past two days and yellow alert has been issued for the coastal districts. In the coastal districts, a four-day holiday was given for the benefit of the school children last week after heavy Rainfall. Weather Report: Heavy Rainfall Alert in coastal districts from tomorrow.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted moderate to heavy rainfall in coastal districts. The rain that poured down last week has given a little respite for two days. Rain is going to shout again from tomorrow. Coastal districts like Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada and Udupi received 6 to 11 cm from July 31 to August 3.

The weather forecast has predicted that coastal districts get heavy rainfall till July 3. A yellow alert has been issued for August 3 in hilly districts like Chikmagaluru, Shivamogga, Kodagu and Hassan. Otherwise, it will be cloudy with moderate rain in the southern inland part. Still the same atmosphere will continue in the state capital Bengaluru.

Light/moderate fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy rainfall very likely over the region during 27th July to 2 Aug. Isolated very heavy rainfall likely over Arunachal Pradesh and Assam & Meghalaya on 27th & 28th July, 2023 and then during 30 July-2 Aug.
