The Gruha Lakshmi Yojana is launched to support women and improve their livelihood. It aims to empower housewives, landless women, and agricultural women workers by providing them financial assistance through a Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode.

The Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah will start receiving the amount of Rs.2,000 after 16 August which will be directly transferred to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts. Registration for the state government’s ambitious Gruha Lakshmi Yojana is now further simplified and you can apply directly.

Eligible beneficiaries can directly go to their nearest registration centres along with their documents and register their names. The important thing is that money will not be deposited just because after you apply for Gruha Lakshmi Scheme, you have to do this without fail. Failure to do this after completing the application may result in disqualification from the scheme.

Because the owners do not link the Aadhaar card to the bank account. You must link Aadhaar card with bank account without fail. The money will be transferred to the bank account linked to your Aadhaar card. So without fail you should link Aadhaar card with bank account. Apply for Aadhaar seeding by going to your bank branch, Aadhaar seeding and NPCI mapping to your bank account.

The registration for the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme started from 18 July. Eligible women can register for the scheme online by following the below steps:

Step 1: Visit the Seva Sindhu Guarantee Schemes Portal.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Gruha Lakshmi Yojana’ option.

Step 3: Click on the link displyed in the pop-up box.

Step 4: Fill in the required information for the scheme and upload the documents.

Step 5: Click the submit button and note the application form number for future reference.
