Weather Alert: IMD issued heavy rainfall alert in 4 day in Karnataka

It has been informed that there is a possibility of increase in rainfall in all the districts along the coastal districts and in the southern hinterland. Rainfall will intensify in other districts except Bagalkot, Bidar and Yadgiri in the northern hinterland.

India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall in some parts of the state during the next four days. It has been informed that there is a possibility of increase in rainfall in all the districts along the coastal districts and in the southern hinterland.

There is a chance of thundershowers at some places. Rainfall will intensify in other districts except Bagalkot, Bidar and Yadgiri in the northern hinterland. Most of the coastal areas, many parts of the southern interior and a few parts of the northern interior are likely to receive thundershowers on Tuesday.

There is a chance of heavy rain at a few places along the coast and the wind speed of 45 to 55 km per hour is likely. Therefore, the India Meteorological Department has issued a warning to the fishermen to go into the sea.

The department said that the weather in Bengaluru city is generally cloudy and there is a chance of moderate rainfall with thundershowers during this evening or night. It is also raining in many districts including Davangere, Karwar. There is a possibility of rain today also. Yellow alert has been announced in some districts.

Bagalkote, Belagavi, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Vijayapur, Yadgiri, Bidar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Koppal districts received heavy rainfall.Bengaluru had cloudy weather yesterday morning. It was very hot in the afternoon. It rained heavily in the evening. It has rained in many places during the night as well.
