Karnataka Weather: Heavy Rain Alert in coastal districts till August 19

The India Meteorological Department has predicted that there will be heavy rain till August 19 in the coastal and southern hinterland of Karnataka. Heavy rain will occur in Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Udupi districts. Karnataka Weather: Heavy Rain Alert in coastal districts till August 19.

Belgavi, Bidar, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Kalaburagi, Koppala, Raichur, Bellary, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru City, Chamarajanagar, Chikkaballapur. The India Meteorological Department said that there will be rain in Chikkamagaluru, Chitradurga, Davangere, Hassan, Kodagu, Kolar, Mandya, Mysuru, Ramanagara, Shivamogga and Tumkur districts.

Basavan Bagewadi, Ponnampet, Gabbur, Sattur, Haradanahalli, Castlerock, Devadurga, Kakkari, Vijayapura received rain. Thunderstorms are likely at some parts of the southern hinterland, some along the coast and a couple of parts of the northern hinterland.
