Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will go on sale in the country on August 18. The company has released information about this officially. The smartphones are already available for pre-booking. Unsurprisingly, the Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 received record pre-bookings. In the first 28 hours, more than 100,000 customers pre-booked the phone in India.

The starting price of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 phone is Rs 99,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. 1,54,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage capacity of the Galaxy Z Fold 5. More than 20,000 customers pre-booked Galaxy Z Flip5 and 23,000 customer pre-booked Galaxy Z Fold 5.

The Z Fold 5 sports a 7.6-inch QXGA+ AMOLED inner display with a 6.2-inch cover display. The flip phone comes with a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ internal AMOLED 120Hz display and a 3.4-inch AMOLED external 60Hz display.

These smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. These foldable phones run with the latest Android 13 operating system. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 packs a 4,400mAh battery and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 phone has a 3,700mAh battery option.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 features a 12-megapixel ultra-wide primary sensor with a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with OIS support. It comes with a dual rear camera setup. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. The front camera is 10-megapixel.
