Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah give shock to those spreading fake news

Congress coming to power with clear majority in the state, the menace of fake news on social media has crossed the limit. Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah has instructed the police that the concerned authorities should trace the sources of these fake news and identify those who are spreading them on social media and take legal action.

Cyber police should work round to trace the sources of fake news. A report in this regard should be given every month. The government will not tolerate anyone who tries to create unrest in the society through fake news. He said that besides maintaining harmony, we are committed to provide an environment of peace and tranquillity to everyone.

IMD heavy rain alert in these places next 24 hours: issued yellow alert

The India Meteorological Department has predicted that there is a possibility of heavy rain in the next 24 hours across the state, including the state capital Bengaluru. Monsoon rains have intensified in the state, many areas are already receiving good rains, and today there is a possibility of heavy rains in the southern interior districts.

Coastal districts and various southern inland districts have been receiving good rains for the past two days. Yellow alert has been announced today for heavy rain in Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Kodagu and south interior Tumkur, Bengaluru Rural.

Also Bangalore city, Ramnagar, Tumkur, Hassan, Mandya, Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Ramnagar, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, coastal districts and many southern interior districts today. The IMD said the Southwest Monsoon has advanced into remaining parts of South Arabian Sea and some parts of Central Arabian Sea.
