This is Siddaramaiah’s seventh Budget as a chief minister, having presented six during his tenure as Karnataka CM from 2013 to 2018. The Budget will also be the 14th Budget attended by the senior Congress leader. The budget session of the Karnataka Legislature began on Monday, July 3 with Governor Thaawar Chand Gehlot emphasizing on the need to eliminate corruption in the state.

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, who will present the budget today, will hold a meeting of the Congress legislative party at 9.30 am before the budget. CM Siddaramaiah has instructed to attend the Vidhana Soudha conference hall. MLAs and ministers are already arriving for the meeting. Will the Brand Bangalore project get more funding in today’s budget? A question has arisen.

Aiming for the comprehensive development of the city under the name of Brand Bangalore, there are many expectations including traffic problem, garbage disposal problem, rainwater infiltration problems in low-lying areas, huge drainage problems, elevated corridor, Tech Park, tunnel road construction dream in Bangalore, Rajkaluve development. This is the budget that compensates the financial system with guarantee enforcement.

The previous government had presented a budget of Rs 3.09 lakh crore. This time the budget presented by Siddaramaiah will increase further. We have to wait and see how much more luck will come with the implementation of the guarantee.
