Mohammed Shami got into trouble before the World Cup 2023, is likely to be arrested!

The World Cup kicks off on October 5 with a repeat of the 2019 Final as England take on New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Mohammed Shami got into trouble before the World Cup 2023, is likely to be arrested!

With three months left for the One Day ICC World Cup 2023 to be held at home , Mohammad Shami, the main bowling weapon of Team India, is facing difficulties. Shami, who has been ruled out of the West Indies series, is currently on rest. Mohammad Shami has been given a break from Team India in view of Asia Cup and World Cup.

But Shami has now faced a new problem, the domestic violence case filed by his wife Hasin Jahan in the court has come to the fore again. In fact, a Calcutta lower court had issued a restraining order against Shami’s arrest in connection with this case. Earlier, Shami wife Hasin Jahan had appealed to the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court had taken an important decision.

Shami wife Hasin Jahan had moved the Supreme Court against the stay of arrest and delay in the trial process after the Calcutta lower court issued a stay order in the domestic violence case. Keeping in mind that the case has not been heard for four years now, the Supreme Court has ordered the Alipore Sessions Court to dispose of the case within the next one month.

Also, if the case is not settled within a month, it has been ordered to think about suspending the arrest. If the suspension is lifted, there is a possibility that Mohammad Shami will be arrested before the World Cup. In 2018, Hasin Jahan had filed a complaint against cricketer Shami at the police station on other issues including domestic violence.

On August 29, 2019, the Alipore Sessions Court, which heard the case, ordered Shami’s arrest. Later, Shami filed a counter-appeal in the lower court challenging the verdict. Later, the lower court ordered a stay of Shami’s arrest till November 2, 2019.
