Gruha Lakshmi Scheme: These women’s will not get Rs 2000 this month

Strict warning has given that such women who have applied for Gruha Lakshmi Scheme of the Karnataka Government will not be transferred the money of the 2nd installment of Gruha Lakshmi Scheme.

It has been almost two months since the Karnataka Government’s Gruha Lakshmi scheme came into effect. But only the money has not been transferred to the bank account of all the eligible beneficiaries who applied. Now the government has given strict warning that the 2nd instalment of Gruha Lakhmi Yojana will not be transferred to such women.

Gruha Lakshmi Yojana is one of the dream projects of the Congress government. This is a scheme to transfer Rs 2000 to the account of every house owner every month in order to make women self-respect. Already more than one crore women are benefiting from this scheme. A total of 1.12 crore women had applied for the Gruha Lakshmi Yojana in the state of Karnataka.

But out of these, only 48 lakh women have received the first installment of Gruha Lakshmi Yojana. But there is a doubt whether the account of the rest will be transferred or not. Most of the people who apply for Gruha Lakshmi Yojana and the money is not deposited in their account are facing technical problem. Importantly most of the Aadhaar card is not linked with the bank account.

Even though there is Aadhar card link, some people’s ration card link and the names on the Aadhar card are not matching. In the ration card of housewives who have applied, there is a husband’s name in place of the owner of the house. The Department of Women and Child Welfare had earlier imposed all these conditions while issuing guidelines for the Gruha Lakshmi Yojana.

It was also clearly stated that the housewife and the husband of the housewife should not be the payers of Income Tax and GST. Besides, the government had given time to rectify the loophole in the ration card. The state government had given an opportunity for ration card amendment from September 1 to 14. By this time most of them had corrected the loopholes in the ration card. Such applications will now be awarded.

If the housewives who have not yet received the first installment are eligible for Gruha Lakshmi Yojana, both the installments will be credited to their bank account. Once the problem in the ration card is not corrected, Rs 2000 of Gruha Lakshmi Yojana will not be transferred to such people. Others have removed the mother-in-law’s name from the ration card and added the daughter-in-law’s name in place of housewife.

If false information has been given in the ration card in order to get government schemes, Gruha Lakshmi money will not be transferred to the accounts of such account holders. Besides, their ration cards are also likely to be cancelled. If all your documents are correct, but the money is still not credited to your account, you can immediately visit the office of the Women and Child Welfare Department. Also the co-operation of Anganwadi helpers can be obtained.
