Gruha Lakshmi Scheme: Money will transfer to account on this date

The Gruha Lakshmi Scheme will be officially launched on August 30 in Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s hometown, Mysuru. At the same time, there are more than six thousand panchayats in Karnataka. The same program will be launched simultaneously in all Municipal Councils, Municipalities, Town Panchayats and Municipal Corporations.

Senior leaders including Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge, CM Siddaramaiah will launch the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme. Heavy preparations have also been made for this in Mysuru. The program was earlier scheduled in Belgavi, but it was shifted to Mysuru last week.

Preparations have been made to organise a grand program in the presence of around two lakh people at the Maharaja College ground in Mysuru. Among the guarantee schemes of Karnataka, three schemes have already been implemented. The fourth plan is being implemented.

As part of preparations for this program, DCM DK Shivakumar along with ministers, MLAs and officials visited the Maharaja College ground in Mysuru on Thursday. He also gave a strict instruction that preparations should be made without any omission. Before this, a meeting of the officials and people’s representatives was also held in the Zilla Panchayat hall.

The Karnataka Government, under the leadership of Sh Siddaramaiah, has launched the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme 2023, offering Rs 2000 financial assistance to all eligible women in the state. Karnataka Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Eligibility Criteria:

1. Women Head of the Family: Only women who are recognized as the head of the family in the government-issued BPL (Below the Poverty Line), APL (Above the Poverty Line), or Antyodaya cards are eligible to apply for the scheme.
2. Government Service: Women who are currently employed in the government service are not eligible for financial assistance.
3. Income Limit: The family income of the applicant should be below Rs. 2 lakhs per annum to be eligible for the scheme.
4. Taxpayers: Women who are taxpayers or whose husbands are taxpayers are not eligible to avail the benefits of the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme.
5. One Female Head per Family: Only one female member per family is eligible to receive financial assistance through this scheme.
6. GST Payments: Neither the woman nor her husband should be making GST (Goods and Services Tax) payments or filing GST returns to be eligible for the scheme.
