Congress government has implemented four guarantee schemes and one more Yuva Nidhi Schem will start from January 2024. Out of those projects, four projects have been implemented after coming to power. Gruha Lakshmi Yojana is also one of them, and the beneficiaries of this scheme will get a huge Dussehra big gift.

The report mentions that a total of Rs 4000 will be deposited on occasion of Dussehra festival. An amount of Rs 2000 has already been deposited for some women for the month of August 2023. But still some people have not been deposited Rs 2000. The report mentions that the CM Siddaramaiah-led state government will deposit Rs 4,000 at one time as a Dussehra gift to these beneficiaries.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah tweeted about this. “Our government has implemented the Gruha Laksmi Yojana with the objective of providing a permanent solution to the daily challenges faced by housewives who are responsible for maintaining a family. Under this scheme, a monthly subsidy of Rs 2,000 is being given to the owner of each family,” he said.

Two months money has already been deposited for 1.08 crore women of the state and the government has utilized Rs 4,449 crore as a grant for this purposeI am proud to say that our government is committed to women empowerment on this Navratri festival of women empowerment,” Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was quoted as saying.

Gruha Lakshmi Scheme money not deposited? Here is reason:

In Gruha Lakshmi Scheme 9,44,155 applicants have not received money. Minister of Women and Child Development Department Lakshmi Hebbalkar has given the reason for this. 3082 applicants have died. Demo verification of 1,59,356 applicants has failed. Due to the difference in Aadhaar and bank account name of the beneficiary, the money has not been deposited. Rectification of these accounts has been done. She said that Aadhaar is not linked to the account of 5,96,268 beneficiaries.
