WPL 2023: Dane van Niekerk, Erin Burns enter team, RCB best playing XI

The WPL 2023 Schedule will take place at Brabourne Stadium and DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai from March 3 to March 26. The first-ever WPL 2023 Schedule will include 5 Teams in total, with Mumbai, Delhi, and Gujarat being the primary participants. WPL 2023: Dane van Niekerk, Erin Burns enter, RCB best playing XI.

RCB women’s team, which will be led by star India batter Smriti Mandhana, will open their campaign in the league stage against Delhi Capitals at the Brabourne Stadium – CCI in Mumbai on Sunday (March 5). The RCB WPL team will continue their league stage campaign a day later against Mumbai Indians on Monday (March 6) at the same venue, where they will also face two newcomers to Indian T20 league in Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz.

According to the Women’s IPL Schedule 2023, the first matches will begin on March 4 and the last matches will be played on March 26. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Women’s team got a major boost as star international cricketers Dane van Niekerk and Erin Burns have joined the Camp ahead of the much- awaited 2023 Women’s Premier League.

The team had convened at the M Chinnaswamy stadium ahead of their arrival in Mumbai Tuesday. Head Coach Ben Sawyer, assistant head coach Malolan Rangarajan (WPL) and batting coach RX Murali and former Indian player and fielding coach of the team, Vanitha VR were present in the camp earlier today.

The team also welcomed former South African captain Dane van Niekerk and experienced campaigner Erin Burns of Australia to the training which provide a huge boost to the morale and is also a big opportunity for the young uncapped players like Shreyanka Patil and Disha Kasat to learn from the best in the business.
