What is the result if it rains on the reserve day?
Once the semi-final matches are interrupted by rain and the reserve day is not held, the question of how the result will be decided has started to bother all the cricket fans. Here is the answer. If the match is not completed even on the reserve day, then the team with more points and run rate in the league stage will enter the final. For example, if the semi-final between India and New Zealand is cancelled, India will benefit. Because India topped the table. Thus India will enter the final.

Once the points of the teams facing each other in the semi-finals are equal, then the team leading in the run rate will get the advantage. Australia and South Africa have 14 points each. But South Africa is ahead in run rate. Thus, if this match is canceled due to rain, South Africa will directly enter the final.
In the last World Cup final, when the super over was tied, boundary calculation was done for the result. This caused a huge controversy. This time the boundary rule has been removed. This time, if there is a tie in either the semi or the final, a super over will be played until the result is reached.
