Born on January 9, 2003 in Cheema Khurd, Punjab, Vikramjit Singh stayed in his village for almost 7 years. Later Vikramjit Singh’s father Harpreet Singh took Vikram to Netherlands. A very talented player, Vikram played under 12 cricket for Netherlands at the age of 11. On this occasion, the then captain Peter Boren, who recognized the talent of Vikramjit Singh, encouraged him to participate in the Netherlands-A team at the age of 15.
Vikramjit Singh Achievements:
Currently 20 years old, Vikram is a top order batsman. Vikram, who has played 25 ODIs so far, has scored a total of 808 runs with a century and 4 fifties. Apart from this, he has shown his batting talent in 8 T20 international matches and scored 76 runs. He also took 7 wickets in ODIs.
Notably, the Netherlands will be part of the World Cup for the fifth time and will play warm-up matches against Australia on September 30 and India on October 3. Then on October 6, Netherlands will play their first match of the World Cup against Pakistan in Hyderabad.
