Sourav was not discouraged by this. Due to constant practice and hard work, Royal Challengers Bangalore team has been included in this IPL auction. He will play for RCB in the upcoming IPL 2024. Sourav Chauhan who is a player of Gujarat cricket team has done the best in domestic cricket. However, he did not get a chance in the IPL.

Royal Challengers Bangalore picked up the 23-year-old for a base price of Rs 20 lakh in the IPL 2024 auction held on Tuesday. The Times of India reported that Saurabh Chauhan’s father had told him that he had remained unsold in the previous two IPL auctions.

As soon as he was convinced that he was not selected in the IPL auction, Sourav Chauhan turned off the TV and went down to the field and engaged himself in practice. But he did not get depressed in any way and constantly engaged himself in the practice.

Now finally the strongest team of IPL RCB has joined. Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli has got an opportunity with him. I participated in two selection camps this time. Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore are the team. But I am very happy to be selected for the Royal Challengers Bangalore team.

Sourav has played a total of 19 T20 matches and has scored 464 runs. This includes 25 sixes and he has scored four fifties. He played 13 first-class matches and scored 476 runs. He hit 21 sixes in this. He also scored 2 centuries and 2 fifties.
