A maximum of 30 foreign players can join the ten franchises to be picked up in the auction. According to the IPL 2024 short-auction registration list, there are 830 Indians 18 are capped players along with 336 overseas cricketers.

Harshal Patel, Kedar Jadhav, Shardul Thakur and Umesh Yadav raised their base prices to a maximum of Rs. 2 crore, the other 14 – Varun Aaron, KS Bharat, Siddharth Kaul, Dhawal Kulkarni, Shivam Mavi, Shahbaz Nadeem, Karun Nair, Manish Pandey, Chetan Sakaria, Mandeep Singh, Barinder Sran, Jaydev Unadkat, Hanuma Vihari and Sandeep Warrier will be available at a reserve price of Rs.50 lakhs.

Kedar Jadhav:

Kedar Jadhav’s starting price is Rs 2 crore. The former India player has spent a lot of time away from the IPL. The veteran acquisition from RCB as a replacement from the previous season was also ineffective as he did not play.

Hanuma Vihari:

Over time, Hanuma Vihari has not been a consistent player in the IPL. The 16-time Test player for India has only featured in 24 IPL matches since his 2013 debut and he has not featured in a game since 2019.
