The Sports School won 14-year-old BTR Championship

Captain Thansh Krishna M.(106) With the help of his impressive century, The sports school won the 14-year-old BTR Tournament Group 1, Division 3 championship was held by Karnataka State Cricket Association by 2 runs against Vydehi School of Excellence.

The Sports School scored 218 runs in 45.3 overs with Thansh scoring 106 runs off 145 balls with 13 boundaries. Tanya scored 31 and Karthik Taj scored 23 runs to help the team scored challenging total. Tarun 3 wicket for 26runs and Sharvill 2 wicket for 49 runs shows best bowling performance for Vydehi School.

Vydehi School of Excellence scored 216 for 9 in 50 overs and lost by just 2 runs. Although Rithvik (58) and Sharvil (70) showed good batting performance, the team could not be saved from defeat. While Rithvik scored 58 runs from 75 balls with 7 boundaries, Sharvill scored 70 runs from 91 balls with 5 boundaries. But Vishal (2 for 27) and Karthik Raj (3 for 32) bowled well as The Sports School emerged victorious and clinched the title.
