Suresh Raina enter CSK for IPL 2022 place of Deepak Chahar

Another disappointing day for Chennai Super Kings as they lost against Gujarat Titans by three wickets on Sunday to make their chances of the playoffs even more difficult. In recent development some report says that Suresh Raina may enter CSK for IPL 2022 place of Deepak Chahar.

After going unsold at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 mega auction last month, former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) superstar Suresh Raina is all set to make his comeback. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) played a big bet on fast bowler Deepak Chahar. The franchise had attached the pacer to the team with a heavy bounty of 14 crores.

But he could not play a single match in the tournament due to injury and was ruled out. Chennai is now looking for a replacement for Deepak Chahar and it is believed that Mr IPL can be completed in the form of Suresh Raina. According to a news website Dainik Bhaskar, Suresh Raina may return to the team.

Talks are on between him and the management of the franchise. It can be announced anytime. Suresh Raina is the most successful batsman in the franchise. However, his performance in the last season was not good, so the team released him. When Suresh Raina remained unsold in the mega auction, he joined Hindi commentary.

He is currently doing commentary on IPL matches. If this news is true then the Jai-Viru pair of Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni will once again be seen on the field. Raina, who is regarded as one of the best players in IPL history, is the leading run-getter of all time for Chennai Super Kings.
