Sunrisers Hyderabad, who are currently taking part in a pre-season camp in Mumbai ahead of the start of the 15th edition of the league that will be played across four venues in Maharashtra, welcomed former South African pacer RCB former player Dale Steyn, senior Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and new recruit Washington Sundar to the team’s training camp.

Royal Challengers Bangalore former pacer Dale Steyn newly appointed fast bowling coach joined the Sunrisers squad on Thursday (March 17) along with former teammate Bhuvneshwar, who was released ahead of the player’s mega auction but was re-signed by the franchise for the sum of Rs. 4.20 crores.

Dale Steyn was a member of the Orange Army from 2013 to 2015, and he has also played for another Hyderabad-based franchise, the Deccan Chargers, before joining SRH, as well as the Gujarat Lions in 2016 and Royal Challengers Bangalore on two occasions. Steyn retired from international cricket on August 31 last year, and his association with Sunrisers Hyderabad is his first job in his coaching career.
