RCB former player Australia’s star fast bowler Mitchell Starc has announced to play in the next edition of IPL 2024. Mitchell Starc announced that he will play in the 17th edition of the IPL tournament next year. Starc said that he took this decision because the T20 World Cup tournament will be held in the same year.

Australian cricketer Mitchell Starc last played in the IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. He made his final appearance in the IPL 2015. After that, he has kept away from IPL in order to focus more on the national team. He is ready to make a comeback after 9 years by announcing that he is ready to play in 2024.

Mitchell Starc has played 27 matches in IPL so far and has taken 34 wickets. His economy rate is 7.17. His best bowling was 4 for 15 run in the IPL 2014. He played 14 matches in 2014 and played 13 matches for RCB in 2015. Later in 2018, though he was ready to play, he had to miss the tournament due to injury.
