In today big clash Prithvi Shaw has joined the Delhi Capitals for the remaining matches of this season. Both the teams have played 12 games each this season so far and won 6 games each. Due to the difference in their Net Run Rate, Delhi Capitals is standing 5th on the table while Punjab Kings is standing 7th on the table.

Though there are 10 teams participating in the this season, only 4 teams will qualify to play the playoff rounds among which 2 teams will play the finals of the tournament. The top 4 teams presiding at the top of the IPL 2022 Points Table will be eligible to play the play-off rounds.

That is after each team has played 14 games apiece the four teams at the top of the points table will qualify for the playoffs. Among 10 teams playing in IPL 2022 tournament, the top 4 teams in the IPL 2022 points table will be qualified to enter the playoff rounds from which top teams will lock their horns to play the IPL 2022 finals.
