Talking about Australia, they were part of group 1 during the super 12 rounds. After winning 4 games and losing 1, they qualified for the semi-finals. In the semis, Australia defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets. Batting first in the match, Pakistan posted 176-4. Mohammad Rizwan scored 67 runs while Fakhar Zaman also played a wonderful knock of unbeaten 55 runs. Babar Azam hit 39 runs.
