The 42nd match of the Tata IPL 2022 will see Punjab Kings facing off against Lucknow Super Giants on 29th April at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. Lucknow Super Giants team mates injured in a major accident on way to stadium.

Lucknow Super Giants CEO Raghu Iyer was among the 3 people who were injured in a major accident while they were travelling along with the team from Mumbai to Pune ahead of their IPL 2022 match against Punjab Kings, scheduled for Friday, April 29.

Raghu Iyer along with Gautam Gambhir’s aide and another person were travelling in a car, following the team bus en route to Pune when they met with the road accident. The 3 people suffered injuries but are now safem media reported.

Lucknow Super Giants, one of the two new franchises in IPL 2022, will face power-packed Punjab Kings at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Friday. Lucknow played their last match against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on April 24.
