Lucknow and Ahmedabad have officially joined the Indian Premier League. As per the latest developments, Rahul will likely join Sanjiv Goenka’s Lucknow-based franchise for the 15th season of the cash-rich league. While Rahul is expected to captain the Goenka-owned Lucknow franchise.
The new Lucknow IPL group was purchased by RPSG Group for Rs. 7,090 crore. The Ahmedabad group was purchased by CVC Capital Partners for Rs. 5,625 cr. RP-Sanjiv Goenka gathering or RPSG Group is a Kolkata-based business combination and has undertakings across enterprises.
In 2016, RPSG Group entered IPL and purchased the Pune establishment for quite a long time. CVC Capital Partners is a Luxembourg-based private value firm with interests and interests in different games properties. The Ahmedabad group is CVC’s lady passage into IPL.
