Athiya Shetty’s father’s mother (Sunil Shetty and Mana Shetty) performed pooja at her daughter’s new home last month. KL Rahul has moved into a new house with girlfriend Athiya Shetty before leaving for Zimbabwe tour. Rahul and Athiya have been in love for the past 3 years and will get married in January next year.
Sunil Shetty has already given the green signal for the marriage of the two. Suniel Shetty has revealed the time of the wedding for his daughter Athiya Shetty, an actress, and KL Rahul, a cricketer. The actor claimed that because of his busy schedule and numerous trips, Rahul hardly has any free time to get married.
He asserted that the couple cannot be married in the two days between matches. When asked about Athiya and KL Rahul’s wedding plans by a reporter from Instant Bollywood, Suniel responded:
“I think jaise hi bachhe decide karenge (it will happen as soon as the kids decide). Rahul ke schedules hai. Abhi Asia Cup hai, World Cup hai, South African tour hai, Australia tour hai. Jab bachho ko break milega tab shaadi hogi.”
“Ek din me shaadi nahi ho sakti na? (Rahul has busy schedules, Asia Cup, World Cup, South African tour, Australia tour. The wedding will happen only when the kids get a break. It can’t happen in a day, no)?” KL Rahul, who captained the Indian team in the tour of Zimbabwe, swept the 3-match ODI series 3-0.

This is Rahul’s first series win as the captain of Team India. Rahul has traveled directly to Dubai from Harare, Zimbabwe and will join the Indian team that will play in the Asia Cup (Asia Cup 2022). Rahul is the vice-captain of the Indian team in the Asia Cup T20 tournament.

The players of the Indian team who will play in the Asia Cup along with captain Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli left for Dubai at midnight on Monday. The Asia Cup tournament will begin on August 27, and India will face arch-rivals Pakistan in its first match on August 28 in Dubai.
