IPL 2023: RCB released 4 players ahead of IPL 2023 auction: complete list of all teams

All 10 franchises have started preparations for the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League tournament. The mini auction process will be held on December 23 in Kochi, Kerala. Earlier, the BCCI had given time till November 15 to all the teams to release the players they don’t need. IPL 2023: RCB released 4 players ahead of IPL 2023 auction: complete list of all teams.

Now each franchise start releasing players. Currently the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise is planning to make a significant change in its team. Mumbai Indians have already bought the RCB pacer through team trading. Australian left-arm pacer Jason Behrendorff, who joined RCB in the last edition, now belongs to Mumbai.

In addition, it is reported that RCB has released four players from its squad. RCB dropped Siddharth Kaul, Karn Sharma, David Wille and Akash Deep from the IPL 2022 squad. RCB retained Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Faf Duplessis, Vanindu Hasranga, Dinesh Karthik, Mohammad Siraj, Harshal Patel, Shahbaz Ahmed and Rajat Patidar.

Delhi Capitals Retained Players: Rishabh Pant, David Warner, Prithvi Shah, Rovman Powell, Axar Patel, Mitchell Marsh, Sarfaraz Khan, Unrich Nortje, Kuldeep Yadav. Delhi Capitals released players: Shardul Thakur, Tim Seifert, KS Bharat, Mandeep Singh and Ashwin Hebbar.

Mumbai Indians released 5 players. It is surprising that Kieron Pollard’s name is also there. Along with him, Mumbai released Fabian Allen, Tymal Mills, Mayank Markande and Hrithik Shokin. MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings dropped Chris Jordan, Adam Milne, Narayan Jagadeesan and Mitchell Santner from the squad.

The players released by Gujarat Titans are Mathew Wade, Vijay Shankar, Gurukeerat Mann Singh, Jayant Yadav, Pradeep Sangwan, Noor Ahmed, Sai Kishore, Varun Arun. The salary purse for this time’s IPL 2023 mini auction process has been increased to Rs 95 crore.

The record of the most expensive player is likely to be broken this time as the salary purse is higher. Earlier in the IPL 2022 auction, the salary purse was Rs 90 crore.
