Gujarat is led by all-rounder Hardik Pandya, while Chennai Super Kings is led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Former champions Sunrisers Hyderabad have changed their captaincy. India’s veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar will now lead the team in the opening match against Rajasthan Royals. Hyderabad captain Aiden Markram is also yet to arrive in India. Sunrisers Hyderabad will play their first match against Rajasthan Royals at their home ground on Sunday.

Aiden Markram is currently in South Africa for the 2-match ODI series against the Netherlands. He will arrive in India on April 3. The series is crucial for South Africa to qualify directly for the ODI World Cup in India later this year. South Africa’s ODIs will be played on March 31 and April 2.
