India vs Bangladesh 3rd ODI: Rohit Sharma out Big challenge for new captain KL Rahul

Indian cricket team has lost the ODI series against Bangladesh (India vs Bangladesh). While the Indian batsmen failed in the first ODI, in the second match the bowlers bowled well initially and then struggled to pick up a wicket. Rohit Sharma, who fractured his left thumb while fielding in the second ODI while taking a catch in the slip section, remained in the pavilion for most of the match. Now he is unavailable for the third ODI. Thus, KL Rahul, who is the vice-captain, has taken over the responsibility of the team captain.

Along with Rohit Sharma, Deepak Chahar is out with a hamstring injury. Kuldeep Sen is also suffering from a back injury. So he is also out of the third match. BCCI has announced the squad for the third ODI, and Kuldeep Yadav has entered the squad. Battered by injuries and fitness issues of players, India has become a big headache of who to play in the team.

Before the start of the series, there were 20 players in the team. But now after two matches only 14 players are in the squad. Six players of the team were injured within a week which is also a tension for the management. So there is a lot of pressure on Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul.

Bangladesh is getting stronger. Despite the failure of the top order batsmen, Bangladesh are collecting a challenging total in the final stage. Mehidi Hasan has been a thorn for India in both the matches. Bangladesh bowling is also deadly and India has to play carefully.
