Ind vs NZ: Two major changes have been made to the Indian team for the second ODI against New Zealand. Deepak Hooda replaced Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar in place of Sanju Samson. Ind vs NZ: Finally revealed reason for Sanju Samson not included in Playing XI.

As a result of the loss in the first one-day match, a change was expected for the second match. However, no one could have imagined that Sanju Samson would have to sacrifice his place.Because Samson was the mainstay of the team in the first ODI.

When the team was in trouble, Sanju came to the crease and played a partnership of 94 runs with Shreyas Iyer. Contributed 36 runs in 38 balls. However, he was benched in the second ODI. Now the reason behind Sanju Samson abandonment has been revealed.

The main reason for Team India’s defeat in the first ODI was the bowler department. Despite giving a target of 300+, the bowlers who struggled to take wickets failed to limit the opponent. India lacked a sixth bowler. Every bowler including Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal, Shardul became expensive.

Thus, as a sixth bowler was needed for the second ODI, it was necessary to exclude a batsman. While Dhawan is the captain, Gill is the opener, Shreyas Iyer and Suryakumar are in form. Rishabh Pant is the vice-captain. Thus the management was not in a position to exclude any other player from the team except for Samson.

There are many opinions about Sanju Samson exclusion. Sanju Samson is a good wicket keeper batsman but he is missing out due to the presence of Rishabh Pant in the team. Although in the team, he is limited to warming the bench only.

How much love BCCI has for Pant who is in poor form,” the fans are showed angry. There was an expectation that Sanju Samson would get a chance that was selected for the team as a result of giving rest to the senior players before the tour of India vs New Zealand.

But in the 3-match T20 series, Samson was not allowed in a single match. Now played in the first match of the ODI series and dropped again from the second match.
