IND vs END 1st ODI: Virat Kohli may out, strongest playing XI.

Recently, India cricket team defeated England in the T20I series 2-1. Now, they will look to outplay the hosts in the ODI series as well. Ahead of ENG vs IND 1st ODI, here we talk about India’s predicted playing XI against England in the match. However, the availability of former India captain Virat Kohli is the big talking point going into the match.

According to report some media report Kohli is likely to miss the first ODI due to a groin strain. The extent of Kohli’s niggle is still not known, but the Indian team management wouldn’t mind giving the 33-year-old veteran a break so that he is available for the next two games at Lord’s (July 14) and Manchester (July 17).

Both of these teams have been in great touch in this format. India is ranked fourth on the ICC Men’s ODI rankings whereas England is ranked second on the same list. England played their last ODI series against the Netherlands and hunted them down 3-0. Both the teams have added a good bunch of players in all three departments.

In the 103 head-to-head battles in ODIs so far, India has taken an edge over England by a 55-43 margin. The hosts would be desperate to improve their records in this format, while the Indian side will look to seal another series in their favour.
