BTR Shield cricket tournament: Shahan score 115 runs and take all 10 wickets

Bengaluru: Former cricketers Anil Kumble, James Charles Laker and Ajaj Patel who took all 10 wickets in one innings remain green in our memories. But an unprecedented record of scoring 115 runs in a single match and taking all 10 wickets of the opposing team happened in the BTR Shield cricket tournament conducted by the Karnataka State Cricket Association for Under 14 years.

In the match between Sri Ram Global School and Freedom International School, Shahan of Sri Ram Global School scored 115 runs and takes 10 wickets for just 8 runs in the bowling and created an unprecedented record. Sri Ram Global School scored 399 runs for 3 wickets in 50 overs with Shahan hitting 115 runs off 88 balls with 23 boundaries.

In response to this, Freedom International School was bowled out for 14 runs in just 7 overs. Sri Ram Global School team won by 385 runs by taking all 10 wickets for 8 runs even with Shahan, who was brilliant in batting. In the other match of the day, Euro School, Whitefield won by 44 runs against Global School, Whitefield.

VSS International School won by 158 runs against Vys International School. Sudarshan Vidya Mandir School won by 3 wickets against Siddhganga School. Delhi Public School, Whitefield won against Chrysalis High School by 9 wickets. The Sports School team scored a thrilling 9-run win over Gopalan International School. Federal Public School team won against SFS Academy by 4 wickets.
