Karnataka Class 5th and 8th Public Exam 2023: High Court gives green signal

The Division Bench of High Court has given green signal to the state government to conduct Class 5th Public Exam and class 8th Public Exam. The High Court single-member bench issued an order to cancelling the 5th and 8th class public examination; the state government filed an appeal challenging the order of the high court single-member bench.

The High Court heard today and gave the green signal to conduct the Class 5th Public Exam and class 8th Public Exam 2023. The High Court hearing yesterday in this regard refused to stay the order cancelling the circular and adjourned the hearing today. The Divisional Bench of the High Court adjourned the hearing today, instructing the Principal Secretary of the Education Department to submit an affidavit.

Similarly, the High Court has issued an order after completing the hearing of the application today. In order to improve the learning standards of the class 5th and 8th students of the state, the education department has decided to conduct an evaluation test; today the appeal hearing was held in the High Court.

If the Division Bench of the High Court gives permission to conduct the examination, all the government, aided and private schools teaching the state curriculum will have to conduct the evaluation examination. If permission is not given, the examination will be conducted at the respective school level instead of board examination.
