The Congress party could not finalize the selection of the next chief minister in the series of meetings held by high command in the national capital, Delhi. After this, the name of the next Chief Minister of Karnataka will be announced. A row-by-row meeting was held yesterday at the residence of AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge regarding the selection of Karnataka CM in Delhi.

First, in the presence of Rahul Gandhi, AICC presidents including KC Venugopal, Surjewala participated and discussed in the meeting. After this, KPCC president Mallikarjuna Kharge, called Siddaramaiah who was in the CM race discussed with one-to-one.

DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah said to high command that does not want any post other than CM this make increase headache for congress high command. Till now, the High Command has not been able to finalize the CM’s choice as two leaders are vying for the post of CM.

In this background, it is said that the last meeting will be held today at 11 am. So far, the meeting was held with collecting the observer’s report, the opinion of the MLAs, the opinion of the aspirants for the selection of the name of the CLP leader.

All this will be discussed and filed together with AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, KPCC President DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah.

There is already a fierce competition between Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar for the post of Chief Minister. After this, the former DCM Dr. G Parameshwar has also been intrest to the CM race. He also said that he is ready to handle the post of Chief Minister.

Talking to the media about this today, he said that if the Congress High Command gives me the responsibility of Chief Minister, I will definitely fulfill it.
