Karnataka Election 2023: Election Information, Complaints Helpline, Use cVIGIL App

Bengaluru: Karnataka assembly general election is going on, election officials have requested the public to use the toll free number 1950 and helpline number 08372-239177 to get any information related to the election and to use the cVIGIL mobile app for filing complaints about the election. Already more than 300 calls have been got the toll free number 1950 seeking information related to various types of elections activities till April 1st 2023. It includes calls for voter registration, transfer of voter seat and getting election voter ID card. Apart from this, you can also call the helpline number 08372-239177 and get information related to the election.

Registration of new voter list and transfer, amendment will be allowed till April 11. Public can use this toll free number 1950 and helpline number 08372-239177 for election related guidance as well as information on complaints of code of conduct violations.

Use CVIGIL Citizen App: Election Commission of India implements Election Code of Conduct and CVIGIL Citizen App is in place to prevent election rigging and spot capture of frauds. Public should type CVIGIL Citizen App in their mobile play store and download it and register by entering their name, mobile number, address, state, district, assembly constituency details, postal pin code.

Any code of conduct violation cases can be captured live through photo, video and sent by voice. It will directly reach the team of Election Officers. From this, within a few minutes, the teams will proactively check and take action.

CVIGIL Citizen App is always on guard to prevent rigged election attacks. Every citizen should voluntarily use this app to file cases of violation of code of conduct related to elections. By this, transparent elections can be conducted and there will be no room for any encroachments.
