Former MLA ‘Gubbi Srinivas’ officially joins Congress tomorrow

Tumkur: Gubbi Constituency MLA S.R. Srinivas (MLA SR Srinivas) had resigned as MLA. Now it is certain that Congress will join tomorrow. Gubbi MLA SR Srinivas has submitted his resignation as JDS MLA and will join Congress tomorrow.

It has been learned that Gubbi Srinivas will officially join the Congress tomorrow at the KPCC office in Bangalore. Gubbi MLA SR Srinivas had resigned from his MLA post. He was going to submit his resignation letter to Speaker Vishweshwar Hegade Kageri. I am voluntarily resigning from my seat as an MLA. He had requested the Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly to please accept my resignation.

The relationship between him and HD Kumaraswamy was like that of brothers. About a year and a half ago, someone soured that relationship. Therefore, he said that he will resign as an MLA and officially join the Congress.
