Important information has been released that the Election Commission has made all the preparations for the voting of the assembly elections to be held tomorrow. In this regard, information has been released by the Karnataka Election Commission in a press release.

5,30,85,566 voters will vote in the Karnataka assembly elections to be held tomorrow. On 10.05.2023 in 58,545 polling stations at 37,777 locations. Out of these 11,71,558 are youth voters and 12,15,920 are 80+ age voters. There are also 5,71,281 PWD voters. About 4,00,000 polling staff have been deployed for polling processes, it said.

All the facilities including EVM and VVPAT machines are being provided in all the 224 assembly mustering centres. They will be transported to their respective polling stations. It said that route officials along with security personnel will take them away.

84,119 state police officers and 58,500 CAPF policemen and 650 COYs have been deployed for security. By this Law and order and security work has been undertaken on the polling day across the state. Police have kept vigilance at 185 inter-state border check posts.

100 excise interstate border check posts are also functioning. High alert has been declared everywhere. Commercial tax officers have been deployed at 185 check posts and 75 excise check posts, it said. 190 Police, 18 Excise, 33 Commercial Tax check posts have been established at the inter-state border.

Through this action has been taken to control the irregularities. 53 police check posts have been set up on the Maharashtra border, 05 police, 03 excise and 3 commercial tax tech posts have been established in Goa. In Andhra Pradesh 57 Police Check Post, Telangana 30 Police, 5 Excise, 11 Commercial Tax Check Post have been opened.

25 Police, 2 Excise, 5 Commercial Tax Tech Posts have been opened in Tamil Nadu. In Kerala, 20 police, 8 excise, 14 commercial check posts have been opened and action has been taken to supply illegal money and liquor.
