Speaking to the reporters, he said that he will go to Delhi soon and discuss with the high command regarding the Karnataka cabinet expansion, and the high command will decide on the re-minister ship of former minister KS Eshwarappa and Ramesh Jarakiholi.

Action will be taken to speed up Bhadra Upper Bank Project work. The pending land acquisition process in some places will be completed soon. If this project is completed, it will be the first national irrigation project in the state.

Puneet Rajkumar: Karnataka Ratna’ award will present on November 1

Yesterday CM Bommai said the award is being bestowed on the actor posthumously in recognition of the contribution he made to the Kannada film industry, language, and culture. “Puneeth Rajkumar is a real Karnataka Ratna as he has ruled the hearts of people through his achievements. He is a source of inspiration for youths,” Bommai said.

The award presentation ceremony will take place on the grand stairs of the Vidhana Soudha at 5 pm on November 1. The function will be attended by noted litterateurs, film personalities, MLAs among others. Asked about the demand from Puneeth’s fans to hold functions on a big scale to pay tributes to the late actor, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said after the November 1 function, three more events will be held in different parts of Bengaluru.
