Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023: Voting start from tomorrow April 29

BBMP Chief Commissioner Tushar Girinath said that arrangements are being made for voting from home April 29 to May 6, for those above 80 years of age and those with special needs. Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023: Voting start from tomorrow April 29.

District Election Officer and BBMP Chief Commissioner Tushar Girinath who has released the information in this regard, there are 97,15,109 voters in Bengaluru city. There are a total of 97,15,109 voters in the 28 assembly constituencies of Bengaluru, of which 50,24,775 are male, 46,86,813 are female, 1,761 are other, and 1,760 are service voters.

He said that there are 1,43,526 youth voters in the city and this time the number of youth voters has increased. He said that arrangements have been made for voters aged 80+ and special minds to vote from home from April 29 to May 6 through the Election Officers.

He said that as part of the general election Karnataka Legislative Assembly 2023, as a part of creating awareness among the voters about their polling station, the program ‘Namma Nade Matagatteya Kade’ has been organized in all polling stations of the state as a national festival for one time.

The polling for the current election will be held on May 10 and the program ‘Namma Nade Matatgatteya Kade’ has been planned to be held simultaneously in Bengaluru city limits on April 30 at 8:00 am.
